Autopostr.com - Notify New Flickr Postings on Twitter

    autopostr

Autopostr is an application that bridges two of the most popular current sites by allowing you to notify your Twitter friends whenever you post a new photo on Flickr automatically. Setting up this auto-notification service is quick and simple, just go to autopostr.com and enter your flickr web address, your Twitter ID and then click on the “add me” button. After having completed this simple process, every time you want to notify your Twitter followers of something new you have posted on Flickr, simply add a “#” to the title of the photo and they will be automatically notified. Autopostr is currently in Beta mode and promise to be working on some great new additions in the near future.

    In their own words

“Autopostr.com - let your twitterfriends automatically know you posted a new photo on flickr, by just by adding a # to your photo title!”

Why it might be a killer

This simple little application ties the most popular photo sharing network to one of the most popular social networks. This functionality could make it a popular application for anyone who uses both services and avoids the pain of having to take extra steps to notify friends of new photos on Flickr.

    Some questions

Will they be incorporating additional sites? It would be nice to be able to alert your friends on Facebook when you post a new Flickr photo, and it would also be convenient to be able to alert your Twitter friends when you post a photo on Facebook. It would also be nice to be able to choose which friends to notify.
