The premise of this site isn’t bad. It runs on user-generated entries. It’s low upkeep. Users not only will be able to figure out what an acronym means, they’ll also get details about the acronym. It could become a very useful tool after some work.

The problem with AskAcronym is that it depends on user submissions. As it’s fairly new, the submissions are pretty scant which means if you’re trying to use the site, you probably won’t find any answers. It would be nice to see acronyms divided into categories, also perhaps a widget would be handy.
