Akapost is a tool that helps keep users’ email identities private and protects them from being exposed online. Akapost provides a two-way email forwarding service that allows users to send and receive messages from their existing email addresses without actually revealing their true email username or address. To use this service, users create a specific Akapost email address that is associated with their actual email. When emails are exchanged, the recipient sees the sender’s address as an identity “@akapost.com.” The sender also tacks on “.akapost.com” to the recipient’s email address, which redirects responses through the Akapost website and back to the sender’s original email. The result is a completely secure and anonymous email exchange.
