    Agatra.com - Forget your Passwords

    agatra

I have dozens of passwords. And more often than not, I find myself visiting the ‘Reset My Password site to get a new password. And the I try to remember it for the next time. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. It’s a pain. Yet, it’s the name of the game these days. There are solutions out there: password storage, most internet browsers have key chain options, or even scribbling them all down and tucking them away in your wallet. If those options don’t strike your fancy, you might want to try Agatra, a secure online password storage site that organizes your passwords for sites you regularly log into. Agatra will also automatically log you into most sites. If not, it’ll simply display your username and password. To get started, simply enter a desired user name and password. Once you’ve got an account, you can add any site that needs a password. The service is free and uses superior encryption technology. (Just make sure you don’t forget your Agatra password.)

    In their own words

“Agatra.com launched in October, 2005 on the premise that internet users (including the founders!) have too many usernames and passwords to keep track of. The burgeoning growth of blog sites, photo-sharing sites, social networking sites, data aggregators of all kinds, file upload sites, and online time-management sites have created the need for online credential storage. Agatra fills this need by letting users create a list of the sites they log into frequently, and by taking care of the rest of the leg-work. Now you can visit Agatra and with just one click, log into most of the top sites on the web.”

Why it might be a killer

Agatra is a great free service that helps you securely store your passwords so you don’t have to spend time fretting about your passwords.
