Veeple uses Flash to give users a wide array of tools that they can use to make interactive comments and suggestions directly into any video. Just upload a video and then add text, speech or thought bubbles to a video just for fun or for the purpose of adding additional information to a video. Insert web links directly into a video, allowing viewers to find out more or link to the MySpace page of the person in the video. You can also insert an eBay link to any given product that appears in the video, allowing people to buy a specific item that appears. The possibilities for Veeple are virtually endless but perhaps the most interesting potential application is as a non-intrusive advertising tool that would allow advertisers to insert links into videos and thereby help to monetize services like YouTube.

While there are a few other players in this space, Veeple seems to have developed a cutting edge technology that will make it a major player in the newly emerging video advertising space. Being able to insert links within videos in a non-intrusive manner will allow many companies to finally start turning a profit.
