This service would be extremely helpful if you can’t find your cell phone and don’t have a landline or roommate’s phone to call it from. There certainly will be people who would use it to ring them in the middle of a meeting or blind date, though this would take some foresight and some good acting skills when you answer a call with no one on the other end.
