Yes, there’s another online storage site to add to your list. This one’s called Openomy and it’s your basic online file system that comes with 1 GB of free storage. Openomy is based on an open API which means you can access your files stored on Openomy from any computer. Files and users are organized as tags. You can choose to keep your files locked up for solely your own personal use, or you can keep them open for third-party apps to access. Using Openomy is simple. Just create an account by registering. Get a user name and password, then choose a file or files to upload. Once uploaded, you’ve got a number of choices. You can add tags, modify or delete the file, create a file permalink and make the file public, or rename it. Openomy is currently free. Just don’t get any big ideas, file sharers.
