Meipi is a web-based application developed with the aid of Google Maps that allows users to place pertinent information on a map of the world. To get started, register and create a new “meipi”. Once you’ve done this, toggle around the map until you find your desired location, click on it, and add whatever information you like. The application can be used for a variety of things including: road closures, school hours, library hours and a host of others. If you don’t want to add anything, you can surf around the map to see what interesting information people have posted by simply clicking on any of the arrows and reading the pop-up windows.

Already, in areas of Spain, the map has become too cluttered to be able to identify individual tags on the map. How will they solve this issue as the site becomes more popular?

| Hey there... Thanks for the review :-), and for the feedback as well!Regarding the issue about the large number of tags in certain areas, we're concerned about it, and already give meipi creators the chance to select between "word tags" and classical markers. We're also thinking about dealing with active/archived information, so you could see only the relevant information.Any other feedback will be most welcome!Regards from the meipi.org team, - -g | ||
