LiquidPlanner.com - So You'll Actually Get Things Done

Project deadlines approaching? Need to quit slacking and get things done, once and for all? LiquidPlanner is here to help. This online project management tool works how you do. It offers probabilistic scheduling to prevent delays (based on real stats), timelines with range estimation, promise dates allowing you to enter commitments and be alerted if you’re about to miss them, commenting to keep the dialogue open, and it’s all on the web. LiquidPlanner will keep you on the ball. You can invite as many members as the project requires, there’s multi-level organization—folders, subfolders—there’s document sharing, and personalized dashboards. A feed allows you to see all the latest updates and comments, and you’ll see only the items that are assigned to you. There’s absolutely nothing to install. LiquidPlanner is free during the beta period—afterwards you’ll pay a per member per space subscription fee.

  In their own words

“LiquidPlanner is transforming the way organizations manage complex projects.

It's online project management software that offers teams a complete project environment, rich social networking features, and a revolutionary way to manage uncertainty.

Finally, a PM tool that thinks just like you do.”

Why it might be a killer

LiquidPlanner offers a full and robust suite of features. It insures that you get done in time by implementing realistic scheduling and prompt alerts. It’s got everything you’ll need whether your project involves an entire business or five people. It’s flexible and very affordable.

  Some questions

What will the pricing look like after beta? Is there a way to import information from other calendaring/gtd apps? Is it as intuitive as it claims to be?

Hi! My name is Liz Pearce and I work for LiquidPlanner. Thanks for the review. I wanted to address some of your questions. After beta, LiquidPlanner will be priced on a subscription basis. For each person you invite to your project space, it will cost $24.95/month. Projects are unlimited. For you, the space owner, LiquidPlanner is always free. You can import data from Excel, MS Project, etc. in .csv form very easily. You can also export data. As for how intuitive it is, you'll need to see for yourself! :)
