YoFamilyTree is a family meeting ground where families can share their photos, stories and events. You can think of it as a social network for just your family.

Each family can create their own subdomain, with their name in the URL. Each member can write his/her own biography and they can also write about their ancestors or close relatives. YoFamilyTree also gives families the capability to make their own family tree. Other features include private messaging, videos, photos and something called My Will. This feature is geared mostly at older users, who wish to have all their contributions remain intact by passing their content to another member. Registration is free.

The site seems rather unorganized. Each new page you go to opens a new window. The about and Faq’s sections are oddly worded. Is there a premium plan available?
