In their own words
Thanks for visiting the first episode of my new video blog. Every episode will be accompanied by links to the stories I mention, which you can find below. If you end up watching my video on someone else's site (if they embed my daily video into their own page, for instance), then you can always come back here to get direct links if you're interested in learning more about a particular story. Before I get into the story links, I want to let you know that this project will keep changing and growing. I'll appreciate feedback about your expectations, and what you'd like to get out of WebbAlert. I'm going to add more features over time, put in more ways to watch and subscribe, and add ways for you to comment and discuss things. Also, sometimes I will travel for work, sometimes I will get sick, and sometimes I'll really need a day off, so please forgive a missed day here and there. I'll try to warn you in advance
Why it might be a killer
This is simply a well written, well executed video blog. Even from her pilot episode, you can see that Webb is going to be a big hit. A beautiful girl who knows her tech news? You really can’t have a better package in this webspace, and to top it off, she’s producing this show all on her own. Great added features, including links to news articles and discussion and feedback from the viewers.
Some questions
How will this blog generate revenue? Will she use traditional web advertisements or do rolling advertisements before, during, or after a webisode?
