Vquence.com - Video Sequencing At Your Fingertips

    vquence

Vquence is all about video slicing. Bascially, a vquence consists of a sequence of video clips or previews strung together and viewed in the Vquence player. The player features hyperlinks below each clip allowing you to see the whole video in its entirety, wherever it may be hosted originally. Behind the scenes, Vquence crawls the web’s top video services providing users with new material to add to their Vquences. Users search through Vquence’s database, bookmarking the videos they like. These bookmarks can then be edited into a video sequence. Finished Vquences can be easily shared via email or embedding to a blog or web page. Registration is required to create your own Vquences.

    In their own words

“A vquence is a collection of short video previews which you can put together using the Vquence search and editing tools on this Web site. These sequences of video or as we call them "vquences" are viewed in the Vquence player to allow you to gain a quick overview of the collection. There are hyperlinks behind each preview which will link through to the full-length video - wherever on the Web it may be hosted.”

Why it might be a killer

Vquence offers users a new way to experience video content. The site essentially provides viewers to put together their own channels from various video sources across the web. These Vquences can then be shared with friends and family; it’s actually a more engaging way to share video content.

    Some questions

Will this concept take off? What video sites are scanned, and how many new videos are added each day? How is the site going to gain traction?
