    Viddix.com - The Next YouTube?

    viddix

Viddix promises to be the next big thing in online video. It goes beyond YouTube and lets you integrate web content to videos. The Viddix interface contains two screens instead of one: there’s one screen for the actual video content, and the other with web content—photos, graphs, YouTube videos etc. Say you want to make a screencast of your last trip to Vanuatu. You can record yourself narrating your trip while photos stream by on the right hand side. Or, if you want to take a different approach, you can stream video footage of the exotic Vanuatu beaches and archipelago on the left while presenting a map of where you’ve been on the second screen. Any extra web elements can be used for the right screen or panel (iPanel). Simply upload your video and start adding web content, then publish. Like other content-sharing sites, you can rank videos, choose from categories, channels, most popular, and newest videos. It’s also free.

    In their own words

“VIDDIX is a new video platform that allows users to add all kinds of webcontent to their video timeline. This new video platform will enrich the online video experience in ways never before seen on the web.”

Why it might be a killer

Viddix offers a revolutionary way to publish online video. It looks promising and has a lot of potential. Users who want more from their videos would do well to check out Viddix.

    Some questions

Is Viddix simply a gimmick? Or will users find the new platform interesting and put it to good use. Video editing functions in much the same way and doesn’t split your attention between two screens.
