tv , hosted by Gary Vaynerchuk is a video blog that covers wine. Each episode features different wines, tastings, and food—everything you could want to know about wine and wine culture. It’s got a cult-like following and Gary has shared his wine knowledge with the likes of Conan O’brien and Ellen Degeneres. There’s also full-fledged community that has developed around WineLibrary. Currently WineLibrary.tv is in search of Web 2.0 personalities, video bloggers, and winos alike to contribute to WineLibrary. The latest installation featured video blogger megastar Joanne from Rocketboom, the video blog about internet culture. Together, the two tasted three wines and chatted about everything from France, childhood, spitting, and, of course, wine.

WineLibrary is good, hearty entertainment that’s educational too. It’s host is compelling and informative and definitely not your average winesnob. The show has low production values, but it’s got character and enough of a following to keep on.

Will WineLibrary’s call for Web 2.0 personalities produce results? Not everyone can be as informed about wine as Joanne. Will Web 2.0 personalities be attracted to WineLibrary?
