NextBigSound.com - Measuring The Interaction With Music

    nextbigsound

Next Big Sounds is an interesting project that was created to give you and your friends the possibility to see the way many band's fans interact with music online. This is great isn’t it? I tend to think that anything that makes it easier for you to find anything you need is good. When it comes to having a real time experience sharing music with your friends this is going to be a positive solution for you to explore. Imagine you are looking for an specific artist or song: the only thing you need to do in order to find the data you are keen on is inputting any word related to it, and you will get an overview making clear the amount of plays on the artist's MySpace, Last.fm and iLike profile pages.

All the data you need is going to be ordered by week, month or all time. In addition to this, you will have the chance to learn about how many fans are already following your preferred artists on these sites. As you already know, these sites are not the only ones where you can find data about your favorite artists. You can do it on Facebook and Twitter and you will be provided with different graphs representing the way this information is changing over time.

    In their own words

“Track how millions of fans interact with online music everyday.”

Why it might be a killer

It will be very interesting for a wide variety of users that want to access data like the popularity of their favorite artists, as well as having the chance to get good music.

    Some questions

How is this service going to evolve in the future?
