MusicHerd is an outlet for finding and purchasing music online. Although the pink hues overwhelming the site might have you thinking this is a site dedicated to finding tunes for soothing pms, such is not the case. It’s really simple: you search for a song or artist by entering keywords into the search bar. MusicHerd turns up albums and music videos. Clicking on any album pulls up a description as well as the option to purchase said album on Amazon. On the right hand side, you’ll find thumb nails of available videos. Click on any to find a brief overview, along with the video, usually pulled from Youtube; there’s also an embed code available. If there are Mp3s to download they’ll appear on the right hand column. Click on CD’s at the top to find a large, pink tag cloud of popular artists and songs.

This site gives you a soothing interface for selecting and finding music to purchase on Amazon. The videos are a nice addition to the site, as they give you something to watch and listen to while you decide what to purchase.
Will the site add music previews? What about the ability to watch videos and search for music within the same screen? Why so much pink? It seems just as easy or perhaps more so to search Amazon rather than having to go through MusicHerd first.
