    In their own words

"Mubito provides smart tools for music people. Our new online music platform combines music and the Internet in a new way, creating a powerful hub of online promotion and distribution for musicians and record labels.

At the core of our offering is a tool for musicians and labels to create and manage their official music websites – including an in-built member community, online shop, news, live events, and streaming media.

Our latest product introduces a wizard that simplifies the creation and management of official music websites into a few simple steps, and provides access to promotion and distribution through our network of official music sites."

Why it might be a killer

Mubito.com really gives artists and labels the power and freedom of promoting their music the way they want to. Making a site is simple, just select your layout, site design, upload your content and your done. Building a community really helps spread your music around and promote yourself.

    Some questions

Mubito.com offers a free, basic subscription and premium subscriptions which range from 10 to 16 euros a month, is upgrading and downgrading easy to do? Mubito.com includes the community aspect, but will it be able to compete with the MySpace music community?

    Updates

Answers from reviewers questions: yes, you can easily upgrade and downgrade between basic (free) and premium site subscriptions. We don't take away any design features from basic sites, only add some advertising and affiliate products for sale in your shop. You also lose some of the premium features in Site Manager when downgrading to basic.

We don't seek to compete with MySpace - that's a great place to put up a profile to find new fans in the 100 million + users, but we give you a tool to monetize fans, site traffic and intent to purchase. Your official site powered by Mubito.com is the center of your digital business, and your MySpace profile can help to funnel new fans to your official site (as do other Mubito sites).
