    Maestro.fm - Remotely Access/Share Your Music

Music does well on the internet. This is pretty obvious as new music communities are cropping up around a regular beat.

So now we have Maestro, a community which also doubles as a remote listening service. Besides the usual lot of social features, Maestro lets you store and remotely access your own music, from any computer. Not only that, you can also stream music from your friends within the Maestro network. To get started, you’ll need to download the Maestro Connector and lead it to your music hoard, from which it will dig out all the relevant meta data and connect it with your online profile. Then you’ll be able to play your songs and make playlists. This does limit you to an extent, as your main computer has to be on in order for you to listen to music; however, you can listen to your friends’ music using the embeddable widget player. Additionally, playlists can be streamed to Myspace and Facebook.

    Maestro.fm In their own words

“Maestro is a new web-based social music platform where you can remotely access your entire music library from any browser, interact with your music and your friends' music, find out information about the music you are listening to, stream your playlists to MySpace or Facebook, send playlists to your friends or anyone else you want to...and purchase MP3s of the songs you hear as you discover new music.”

Why Maestro.fm might be a killer

Maestro’s covered two fronts already: networking and being able to listen to your own music, and that of your friends. This means you get access to your playlists at the office, on vacation, in your car, wherever.
