Locr takes your pictures and references them based on their geographical location. When you´re organizing the photos from your trip to Europe, this would be a cool tool to use. You place your pictures in the location they were taken, and then they present a digital map, giving you an automatic description of your photo based on geographical location. You can keep your photo collection private, or share it with your friends and family, or the entire internet community. The cool part of the site for me is browsing through the various places that have already been geotagged.

They reference photos in a unique way based on their location and show you other places close by, which other sites do not. It´s a cool tool for people coming back from trips.

How are they planning on making money? How will they publicize themselves, since they´ve been out for a few months and don´t seem to be getting much site traffic? Will people really want to upload each photo into this system, or will they just use it more for the professional kinds of photos that are already uploaded and the Wikipedia info that comes with it?
