Someday Jacked may be the way you experience all of your media. Until that point, the company is making a good attempt to influence how you view your sports. The site gives viewers an interactive and customizable way to view a sporting event. Jacked technology scours the internet to pull together video, statistics, links, and commentary circulating around a specific game, and the viewer can select what they want displayed on their “second screen.” Fans can choose to compare the real-time stats of two different players, or chat with other users about the game. Jacked eventually hopes to create interfaces for news and other information.

Jacked’s ability to search the internet for very specific information, and deliver it almost immediately to the user, is very impressive. It puts the user- rather than a network- in control of how viewers receive and interpret information.

Will Jacked be able to deliver on all counts? Problems such as copyright infringement, black-out areas, and foreign IP addresses make me skeptical about the ability to deliver the full Jacked experience to all users.
