In their own words
"Ind-Music is a portal for Independent bands and artists. You will NOT find mainstream artists and music on this site. We started this out as an online record label, but it has changed and morphed into what we know today as Independent Music Online. We provide the service of digital music distribution to all bands/artists of any style. We don't discriminate your music, because no matter what we may think about it, someone will feel differently, and what better way to reach your audience than through the web! As our site grows, we will be adding more features besides the music store, and we hope that you will be a part of it with us.
The Music Store is only part of what we do. We offer three services to our artists, with the first service being our music store. You can use the music store to sell your own original music to fans from all over the world. In the future will also come video sharing and online concert streams. The second service is digital content distribution, which is where we can sub-license your music to other internet music stores, such as Sony Connect, as well as TV, Radio, and Movie studios. Our third service is Touring and Promotions. This service is still under development but we are continually growing a nationwide (we are currently expanding in the U.S. only) network of Venues and Studios that musician's can network with to not only perform music, but to record it as well. This is our most exciting project as it can bring together nearly unlimited resources for the independent music community."
Why it might be a killer
The music scene has changed from unique and passionate to celebrity and fame focused. Ind-music.com gives real rockers and their fans a place to keep sacred from the crazy world of LA and MTV Jams.
Some questions
As the site grows, do you plan to add more supported systems? Or a steaming channel that plays the music for sale?
