You can contribute to the information available by adding tags, posts, titles, and anything else to continue to help the community grow. “I Heart Movies, was orginally called Movie Database (MovieDb) in its initial draft. It was started by Jason English and Matt Newton in May of 2005. As more time progressed we decided to make Movie Db a community and multi-user DVD collection and informational resource.

It´s an easy way to sort and organize your movie collection or movies you´ve seen in a fun way. Brownie points help people want to contribute to the project. They have swag and advertising to help make a profit from the site.

Will people care to document all of their movies? For movie information, will they just go to other more complete sources such as IMDB or Flixter?
