GorillaSpot.com - Edit Sweeney Todd and Other Trailers

GorillaSpot is a new video editing app. Using it is a matter of dragging and dropping content into the timeline.

You can give it a test drive using the Sweeney Todd trailer. On one side you have a screen containing editable elements: video, audio, transitions, titles, graphics and music. On the other side you’ve got the trailer itself and the preview screen. Pull in elements (video clips from the film, knife blade graphics, haunting tunes—the works) and insert them into the appropriate spaces below. GorillaSpot seems only to let you edit one video—how often are videos updated and will they add more selection? It seems to me that people may get bored at the lack of selection. As there are other video editing apps out there, GorillaSpot needs to add more content to keep its audience happy.

GorillaSpot takes popular videos and lets you either massacre them royally, or turn them into veritable works of art. You can get as creative and as elaborate as you want. It’s fun stuff—a good way to test out your video editing skills or just to send wacky things to your friends.
