Remember those cool video meetings from the Bond movies that never seemed possible in real life? Well, the future is here and now, and FlashMeeting makes it pretty easy to participate. Anyone with a modern web browser with the Flash 8 (or greater) plugin correctly installed can use FlashMeeting. You will also need a properly installed web cam and microphone. But after that, you are all set. It"s a pretty cool site, and they have gone to extreme lengths to demonstrate how to use the service with both video and text help. I was impressed with the features that have people sign up to speak/broadcast one at a time, along with the ability to chat with others on the call at the same time. It"s an extremely handy program. The only downside I can see is that you can"t get away with working in your pajamas at home anymore.
