Why it might be a killer
Dimpls has a naïve folksy aesthetic and an interesting hook. The day in the life of concept provides for miniature story arcs from people of all walks of life; judging from the popularity of sharing minutiae on sites like Twitter, this could do quite well . The site’s ad plan is also rather novel. Users can basically become their own advertisers.
Some questions
The photos tend to be dull—people already blog about it, so do we really want to see what you ate for lunch? Besides that, the overall quality of photos isn’t too hot. Also, the ad revenue scheme needs some work.
