The interface of BurstLabs features a teal circle inside which you’ll find other disc like objects floating randomly; each little disc is a sound, an ambient noise, or a song. Click through the tagcloud to find something that suits your mood: triphop, pop, dramaTronica, rock, etc. Say you want to listen to something energetic that’s also good for driving; BurstLabs has got it. Advanced filters help you find exactly what you need. Artist information is located within the page. Subscribe to the RSS feed to find out about great new music to listen to, license and download in various formats. While BurstLabs reportedly isn’t working at full functionality it’s pretty cool so far. Try it out when your searching for music to match your mood.

Hidden away in the Lab, experimenting, producing, sweating, listening, programming, tweaking... all in an effort to create an innovative and inspirational web portal for music licensing.. Burst is Music We’re the music company you’ve heard everywhere but have (probably) never heard of • We Produce + Compose Music You’ve heard us : In TV Shows. American Idol. CSI. Law & Order. Saturday Night Live. Really, the list is a little ridiculous at this point. You can get a longer list at our main site for custom music, The Burst Collective, or here at our blog. In commercials. Nike. Gatorade. BMW. Again, too many to list here. We love music and don’t care what form it takes. Video game, commercial, on vinyl or an mp3, in an elevator or in a club, electronic or acoustic… If it’s great music, it’s great music. Period.

BurstLabs is innovative and it’s got a very stylish look going for it. It’s perfect for discovering new music when you really don’t have anything in mind, or when you’re looking for a certain style or beat, but haven’t got a real idea of what you’re looking for. Kudos for the design and its playful atmosphere.

Some people might find the page too vague; although there are search parameters to help guide your search, you might not find what you’re looking for. The searches also seem to take too long. With so many music sites on the web, users may never even hear of BurstLabs.
