In their own words
"BuddyTV is headquartered in the lovely city of Seattle, Washington, USA. Our goal is to bring entertainment and content closer to fans. We do this by providing original articles, news, spoilers, and interviews on an extremely broad range of television content. We also provide a forum where fans from all over the world can come and gossip, chat, and connect with other fans about their favorite TV shows. BuddyTV also enables fans, networks, and studios to conduct TVj "Television Jockey" broadcasts which allows these people to broadcast live audio, video, text, and polls around their favorite content. We are always striving to improve our site for you, so please contact us anytime."
Why it might be a killer
It already has a huge and active user base, including stars and all of the top networks. They even have a Top Publicists Award for the interaction networks have had with their site, showing that publicists are taking an interest because they recognize how important the online component of shows and their fans have become.
Some questions
What new features are they planning on adding to keep their users interested? How are they going to raise users’ interactions with the TVj function, and will previous discussions be made available, since currently that doesn’t appear to work?
