In their own words
"Right now, music you want is playing on some of the 18,000+ radio stations on the Internet. But it's impossible to sift through the endless choices looking for your musical nirvana. BroadClip's free MediaCatcher software lets you easily find and enjoy this music on your iPod, Cell phone, or other portable media player."
Why it might be a killer
This time and place shifting concept for internet radio sounds pretty neat. BroadClip will actually go on and find the music you want and deliver right to your mobile listening device—other sites don't do this, or they do but it's not free. Unlike sites like Last.fm, you can specifically request songs, and you aren't tied down to a highspeed internet connection.
Some questions
BroadClip is cool enough, but there are plenty of legal issues that the app seems to gloss over. They say its like Tivo for internet radio, however stream ripping tech steps into murky waters—the RIAA wants it blocked. Will BroadClip survive intact?
