FotoGLIF.com - Earn Income By Sharing Your Photos

FotoGLIF, a new photo sharing service launched earlier this month, gives users a chance to earn money simply by sharing their slideshows on Facebook and other social networks. The site comes with all the requisite tools to create high quality interactive slideshows. Once you’ve uploaded your photos, you can choose to create slideshows, panoramas or virtual tours. Next, embed or link your creation on your blog or social network; you’ll get back fifty percent of the advertising revenues, while fotoGLIF takes the other half of the cut. Facebook users will need to install the app to their account. As it’s pretty fresh out of the box, there is a modicum of patience required as it may take time to install and upload photos.

  In their own words

“Create interactive high
resolution slide-shows from
your digital photos and share them everywhere. fOTOGLIF gives you the ability to upload, show, share and embed your photos in the networks and websites you already use, as well as share within the fOTOGLIF network. We believe users who upload and share their content deserve something in return so with fOTOGLIF we split our ad revenue with the user 50/50 based on the traffic they generate for their photos. So, sign up start sharing and start benefiting from fOTOGLIF, It Pays to Share!”

Why it might be a killer

Although there isn’t really a dearth of slideshow apps, fotoGLIF could well suit the needs of professional photographers looking to promote and cash in on their works. By making their slideshows public on Facebook, they’ll be able to advantage of a large network, thus potentially earning them a fair amount of extra revenue.

  Some questions

Facebook users may not be the greatest target for this—most photos are meant for sharing amongst friends and family, and users aren’t looking to garner an extra buck. Moreover, there are myriads of slideshow apps that aren’t so cumbersome. Besides that, there is a seamlessness left to be desired.
