Like to watch videos? Like to get paid for watching videos? Then BuzzShed may be right up your alley. Think of it as Digg for videos. There are three different membership levels: a Buzzclip member, a non Buzzclip member, and advertisers. As a Buzzclip member, you’ll receive Buzzclips (e.g. links to Buzzshed videos which they pay you to watch), you can post your own videos and you may post comments as well. Prior to becoming a member, you’ll need to fill out a two page questionnaire to determine your taste and preferences. Non Buzz-clip members can add videos but they won’t receive any payment in return for watching videos. Besides the money catch, Buzzshed is similar to other video networks—you can add videos from Youtube etc., and vote them up (buzz) or bury them. The service pays via Paypal; it’s available in a handful of countries including Argentina, Thailand, Norway, The Czech Republic and Martinque

“BuzzShed is all about discovering great videos and making money watching targeted video advertising.
That's right - as a member you'll get paid to watch videos! The videos will be about sales or special deals for BuzzShed members, or funny promotional videos that the advertiser hopes you'll share with your friends. Each video will be matched to your profile, so we're pretty sure you'll find each one relevant and interesting.
All you need to do is tell BuzzShed about your hobbies and interests, and we'll send you a BuzzClip when an advertiser adds a video we think you'll be interested in. What's a BuzzClip you ask? Well, it's an email containing a link to a sponsored video - watch it and we'll pay you 30 cents. It's that simple!”

Money is often a successful lure. Combine that with the simple act of watching videos and chances are you’ve got a hit on your hands. Buzzshed is quite similar to other social video bookmarking services, however, they do offer a modicum of cash to keep users interested. People watch ads all the time anyways without getting paid.

Despite the cash, will Buzzshed be able to attract members? Will it be able to keep up its video network? Will they be able to gain enough usable metadata to maintain themselves?
