TheUncutTimes.com - You are the Editor Here

    theuncuttimes

TheUncutTimes.com just launched a couple of days ago and is a site that brings some new additions to the social news arena. One feature we have is the Personal Live Feed that keeps track of everything you are doing on the site, so you can navigate around without having to check up on your activities. Another is presenting political/personal viewpoint such as liberal, conservative, moderate, libertarian, etc. The editorial feature is used on many sites but with users viewpoints being key this may play a role on how many people choose to use it. You choose what is most important to you by voting on it. There are no editors at The Uncut Times, users handle content control, which means no slant on anything, there is no one determining what is news and what isn't, that's where the user comes in.

    In their own words

"The country is completely divided along political lines, and your viewpoint shapes the way you see everything not only politics. In the beginning we were going to just focus on politics, but as we went along we figured it would be fun to see how both sides interact with each other over all types of news."

Why it might be a killer

Political sites are really hot right now, but there aren't too many that really try to get them together for heated debate, over issues they care about. Hopefully, the site will show that people have some similarities with each other.

    Some questions

Why in the World News section only appears news that have to do with USA?

    Updates

There are a ton of features coming including something we will be doing to hopefully keep our site from being run by a small percentage of users. There will be quite a few features added within the next couple of months.
