TheGreatStacheOff.com - Grow Your Stache Against Cancer

TheGreatStacheOff is looking for guys to grow their staches in the name of testicular cancer. It’s open to anyone capable of growing a mustache; no fakes allowed (it’s got to be your own).

The fundraiser starts September 1st and ends two months later, on Halloween, giving participants ample time to grow a gnarly mustachio. Contestants must start off facially bald on the first, and must keep their chins and cheeks hairless leaving their staches to grow with wild abandon. All contestants must donate $20 to the fund. Quitters are obliged to pay another $40. All funds go the the Sean Kimerling Testicular Cancer Foundation. The winner gets a trophy, plus that warm feeling you get from having helped a great cause.

    Some questions about Thegreatstacheoff.com

Will they meet their goal? How many people will let their staches flow for the cause?

    Thegreatstacheoff.com In their own words

“The Great Mustache off of 2007 is a contest and fund raising event for testicular cancer awareness and research. Founded by Phoenix, Arizona residents Jonathan Heinl, Jeff Dempsey and Dana Witt, the organization aims to raise thousands of dollars through a world-wide mustache contest. The Great Stache Off is open to anyone willing to grow a mustache, starting September 1 and ending on October 31, 2007. To enter the Great Stache Off, contestants/fund raisers must donate $20 to the fund, and shave ALL facial hair on September 1. Contests are to remain clean-shaven (except for their upper lip/mustache area) until October 31, 2007.”
