Joining the ranks of the recent cropping up of themed Digg-inspired sites is SportsAg, a sports news aggregator which lets users post the latest sports stories and vote on them. SportsAg’s interface and functionalities will seem extremely familiar to anyone who uses Digg; you can comment on, tag, vote for, and share news stories. Clicking on the poster’s name will logically bring up intuitive users statistics such as when the member joined, how many stories they’ve posted, and how many they’ve commented and voted on. To search for a story, you can take advantage of the tagging system, or browse sports by category, date posted, and popularity. Alternately, you can check out what the top site users have been posting by clicking on the “Top users” link. You don’t need to be a member of the site to access most of its features, but you will need to sign up if you plan on posting a news item of your own.

In their own words
“Your online aggregation of sports news”.
Why it might be a killer
SportsAg incorporates all the elements of a potentially successful Digg-related site; it has a commenting and voting system, user statistics, sharing capabilities, and tagging. It’s easy to search for stories and sort them by popularity and date posted.
Some questions
It’s unclear whether, upon signing up, you will be provided with means of storing your stories and/or bookmarking them.
