Smugopedia.com - Pretend You Know Better

    smugopedia

A French writer or philosopher once proclaimed something along the lines of “I hate your opinion, but I will defend to the end your right to have it”. Tolerance is a wonderful virtue, and if you agree with the aforementioned quote and wish to read slightly controversial opinions about a wide-ranging collection of subjects, chances are you will find a visit to Smugopedia worthwhile.

The main page highlights the latest “Smuggies” that have been submitted, and these can be read and rated. The rating system will let you pick from “Thumbs up”, “Thumbs down” and “Awesome”. The name of the person who submitted it is also provided, so you can follow him or acquire an online following yourself by posting Smuggies.

The process of posting smuggies, by the way, is very simple – there is no need to sign up or login, and when submitting one you can choose to be credited on the site for it or not.

The site also includes a list of categories that can be browsed through, whereas a search tool is featured for additional flexibility and ease of navigation.

    In their own words

“Smugopedia is a collection of slightly controversial opinions about a variety of subjects. We offer you the chance to buy a fleeting sense of self-satisfaction at the small cost of alienating your friends and loved ones.”

Why it might be a killer

It is a practical way of getting things off your chest.

    Some questions
