Reviewstash.com - User Generated Reviews

Reviewstash is a moderated user generated review site where people can submit reviews or opinions of new products and sites. While being primarily focused on reviews, the site also has a forum where people can discuss tech developments and also a section for the latest tech articles. While the site launched just recently, there is already a fair amount of content which runs the gamut from reviews on Microsoft’s new 80GB Zune to a review on Empires 2.0. The platform is easy to use and registration does not require that you even submit an email address for verification. All you have to do to get started is pass through a spam verifier and you are off to the races.

“Here at reviewstash we have a couple of simple-minded beliefs we think are key to a great website environment. The first of which, is having quality moderated content with a consumer-perspective, the second being a strong, friendly community, and the third having an open-minded and "humourous" perspective on dry "techno-babble".”

The platform is easy to use and not having to go through a registration process will probably help to increase the amount of user generated content, which at least at the beginning should help to get this site off the ground.

Is there room for another player in this space? While Reviewstash is well-designed, it doesn’t do anything groundbreaking and they may have trouble making inroads.
