    Rememble.com - Create a Digital Diary

We're so surrounded by imagery, audio, and text in this day and age that it's easy for life to become one big, indiscernible blur of streaming media. If you find that you have trouble keeping track of your memories, check out Rememble, a new digital diary service that lets you sort audio and visual memories, together with descriptive text, into a "washing line", so that your stories don't drift off into "digital wasteland".

Though some of the sites jargon borders on the philosophical, the site is much easier to use and navigate than it may sound. To create your "washing line", sign up (for free), and beginning aggregating text snippets, video clips, photos, etc. You can even add material from your mobile phone. Naturally, the site lets you share as much or as little of your content as you want with your friends, and you can create and join communities to plan out how to create new memories. If the process seems confusing or overwhelming, check out Rememble's video demo.

    Rememble.com In their own words

"Rememble is a simple tool that helps you get all your digital bits and pieces in one beautiful place, use them to make and share stories of your life with your friends and then get your stuff back out into the world in ways that make life that little bit better".

Why Rememble.com might be a killer

Rememble's service is pretty unique and extremely well executed aesthetically; the "wash lines" are simple and elegant, and not at all cluttered or busy like one might expect from a service that lets you aggregate so many different kinds of media. If you need ideas, you can check out what sort of "wash lines" the Rememble team has going on; one man even thought to scan concert tickets and upload the resulting images. These demos show that the team not only has fun with their service, they also have confidence in it.

    Some questions about Rememble.com

The Rememble site itself could benefit from a few upgrades; currently if you're not registered for the site you can't really see the sorts of things that other users are doing. Though Rememble offers a video demo and tells you what the creators have been up to in regards to their "wash lines", you can't access any of the corresponding images.
