At the end of the month, prizes are awarded based on entries and their suggested solutions. This would be a good tool for people who are looking to see how customers might react to their products and if they work the way the designer intended them to. It's also a good place for inventors to get ideas for new designs or ways in which to improve something that's already out there. I could see companies paying to get feedback from the community on their products. Design schools will also want to advertise.
Having to reload the window every time to see the image of an entry is frustrating in itself, and should be redesigned. Could they add a bit more information about the prizes and point of the site? Could they categorize items also by location, since some of the items really only pertain to certain countries, and people would be more interested in venting and creating for something that's going to affect them?
