Plime.com is a source for funny and interesting news stories. The main page has a popular news listing so visitors can see the type of random stuff they can post when they become a member. Members can post and vote other posts to influence the popularity. Members can also make changes to other posts and everyone can view the history of changes. The truth is that this site offers silly entertainment and less interesting comments on big news stories. Funny current link posts include "woman at large with hubby's severed penis" and "how to learn more and study less." There are serious subjects posted as well with titles such as, "Red Tide Reveals Possible Cystic Fibrosis Cure" and "doctors will be able to predict patient's future." This is a great place to get news that isn't worth enough media money to put on NBC news but still very important for the general public to be aware of.
