OurWishingWell.com - Gift Registry Made Easy

    ourwishingwell

Are you having a baby, getting married or moving into a new home? Are you interested in creating an online registry of gifts desired for these special occasions? Then welcome to OurWishingWell, where you can create an online registry that your friends can open from the comforts of their own homes. People often hate to go shopping for presents for all of the many events that they are invited to so OurWishingWell takes the stress out of leaving the house and running all around town. Whether you’re shopping for a graduation, birthday or bat-mitzvah gift, this website has everything to meet your needs, whether you’re a guest or a host. All hosts have to do is create an account to start choosing gifts to add to their registry and then are provided with a number to give out to guests so that they can then access the account. Hosts are also invited to create a free website for their upcoming event. It’s easy, fast and hassle free.

    In their own words

“OurWishingWell.com has been developed by a team of experienced professionals that want to give you a way of providing gifts, and receiving gifts, that is quick and easy, saves time & money and is safe and secure.”

Why it might be a killer

With OurWishingWell allows overseas guests who can not attend the event to still send gifts. The hosts never again will have to worry about duplicate gifts or the waste of money spent on unneeded or unwanted presents. Multiple parties can also contribute towards an expensive gift altogether. Hosts can also use the gift money to help pay for the actual event itself. However, guests only contribute money towards gifts (in any amount they choose) so it seems that the hosts still have to do a lot of work in withdrawing funds in order to physically buy the items from their wishing well.

    Some questions

Can OurWishingWell create another outlet where guests pay for shipping and handling and then gifts are sent to the address of the host? Do the hosts feel overwhelmed at having to “shop” after they receive the guests’ contributions? How can OurWishingWell include more information on their homepage to describe the actual contribution of money towards a gift rather than the buying and shipping of one?
