OddBark.com - The Next Craigslist?

The release of OddBark is strikingly similar to Craigslist.org, a free online classified system categorized by geographic location. You can surf through such categories such as Personals, Real Estate, Jobs, Community, For Sale and Auctions. One of the few things that make OddBark.com differ from Craigslist is that registered users can upload music and video to the site to accompany the classifieds, this obviously can be very advantageous to the marketing of certain goods and services that couldn't be represented as well without that. Another interesting addition is that you can also make phonecalls to Supcast which will translate your message into text so you can actually post to OddBark via your telephone.

Oddbark is helping to create the social web by offering an easy to use, free online community service. It allows users to trade their items, meet others, find an apartment, find a job, share their opinion and much more! Oddbark has many unique features that other so-called Classifieds sites do not offer. Oddbark users can post voice ads using Supcast.com phone feature. It also has a special feature where users can receive responses to their ads via SMS (text messaging) on their mobile phones and allows registered users to post audios and videos. Oddbark also informs users when their ads expire, and is currently working on an online voice recording device so users can post voice ads using a mic, directly on the site.

There are some interesting additions that make this site better to use than Craigslist.org, the site looks much better and the SupCast feature is clearly helpful, as well as the ability to upload video.

Even though this site has its advantages against Craigslist, it still doesn't even have close to a fraction of the users and that is still the most important part of the marketplace. How long will it take to gain usership?
