com is a website that allows website coders to share their coding snippets or as they call them “code jewels.” You can link these little jems to external webpages, store and share all of them. You can search for jewels or snippets in any coding language from programmers all over the world. All you have to do is open their homepage on your browser and type in your query. If Naslu doesn’t have exactly what you are looking for, you can put it on your Naslu “wish list.” Maybe the programming elves will provide your missing jewel, but more likely a Naslu user will show you the way. You can also reuse these code snippets into various IDEs, once you sign up, the possibilites in code sharing are virtually endless.

Naslu’s search box is well designed, runs and retrieves results in high velocity. The idea itself, of sharing coding snippets has been done before but previously in a way that was much more like the programming personalities themselves, ecclectic and scattered. Organizing and cleaning up this site is going to make both storing and sharing the jewels easier and effective.

Perhaps in addition to having a search function they could also organize coding jewels by catagory, making it easier to find a code even if one doesn’t know exactly what they are looking for until they see it.
