journeytoforever.org - From Hong Kong to Cape Town

    journeytoforever

Journey to Forever is a pioneering expedition by a small, mobile NGO (Non-Government Organization) involved in environment and rural development work, starting from Hong Kong and traveling 40,000 kilometers through 26 countries in Asia and Africa to Cape Town, South Africa. The route will take you away from the cities and populated districts to remote and inaccessible areas (usually also the least developed and poorest areas), where you'll be studying and reporting on environmental conditions and working for local NGOs on rural development projects in local communities. The focus will be on trees, soil and water, sustainable farming, sustainable technology, and family nutrition. The aim of the site is to help people fight poverty and hunger, and to help sustain the environment.

    In their own words

"Journey to Forever will cross a huge expanse of the globe, and we expect to find plenty of good news and cause for optimism -- and to help demonstrate that ordinary people, even children, can make a positive contribution to the health and future of this most beautiful planet."

Why it might be a killer

"Our website has had nearly 35 million visits" so apparently it has a very big audience. The site promotes a very appealing subject that a huge percentage of the population is concerned. Indeed the site's layout is very appealing.

    Some questions

Is this site popular enough? In spite of having 35 million visits as they say the site is not popular enough for the aim they have. Is this site useful for a profitable income? The site has a very good intentioned aim but they don't have a real income
