FanLib is a site for TV, Movie, and Book fans who want to get involved in their favorite storylines on a deeper level. FanLib is comming out of stealth mode and announced their promo partners which include Penguin, HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, Starz, and Showtime Networks. Alongside this, they have also recieved a sum of $3 million in funding, from Jon Landau, Jon Moonves, and their own chairman Anil Singh, who before starting with FanLib worked on the Sales and Marketing for Yahoo! FanLib is a library of fan fiction, which are original works of fans based on the storylines of their favorite programs, movies, books, bands, etc. Others can comment and rate their work and users can also enter various competitions, as of now, users are competing to win a free movie theatre for a day.
