A portal that enables anybody to promote his events for free and announce them to the world at large, Eventicus is a young German startup that can be readily used and accessed by everybody.
As well as posting events for free, users of this social site can leave comments on events that they have attended in a simple and direct way.
The events themselves are arranged into different categories, some of which include “Performing Arts”, “Commercial”, “Festivals” and “Sports” among several others. Further navigation options include a cloud of keywords devoted to cities that will hopefully expand its scope in the near future. It would also be nice to see a tag cloud listing events’ names and types alongside the city cloud.
