Crispyblogposts is like a Digg for individual blog posts. Everything is uploaded by registered users of the site based on articles they´ve found cool, or interesting, or just want to share. Posts are organized into channels, and if you feel like your post doesn´t fit in with the ones available, you may create another one. The size of the category name is based on how many posts are under it, in tag cloud fashion. When checking out a post, users can vote on if they think the article was “crispy” or “soggy”, which helps prevent spam from being in the front. Once a post has received enough “crispy” votes, it makes its way from the general “pool” of blogs to the “popular” page. They also have a Digg-like widget called the “Crispymeter” that you can embed next to your original post, so that people can see how many votes you´ve received on Crispyblogposts and help vote the post to the popular page.

The interface is clean and easy to read, and it´s nice to see a site that´s just for blog posts that are hopefully of the best quality. The widget will help get people over and exploring their page, providing free publicity for both the blog and Crispyblogposts.

How will they deal with an overflow of categories? Right now, there are a bunch of channels that are incredibly specific, and how will they be able to keep spammers from posting new channels just under their posting´s name?
