CookEatShare.com - Foodie Heaven

CookEatShare is one of the latest in the crowd of recipe sharing sites to storm the web. Like its cohorts, Epicurious, and AllRecipes.com, users register and share their favorite meals and recipes. CookEatShare, as the name suggests, takes more of a social netoworking angle to its site than the others. Users set up profiles, post pics, and can easily communicate with other members worldwide. CookEatShare is also quite feature rich in comparison to the competition. Recipes are easily searchable by keyword, category, holiday/occasion, cooking method, highest rated and so on and so forth. There are featured chef profiles, meal guides, groups and plenty of tools for you to organize and manage your own recipe collection. There's room for reviews and feedback for each recipe and plenty of delectable pictures too. With CookEatShare, you'll never be at a loss when comes to what's for dinner.

  In their own words

"CookEatShare connects you to the worlds best recipes, ideas and chefs!"

Why it might be a killer

CookEatShare is nothing new, but its execution is well done. It's easy to navigate, and it's a great way to get ideas for holidays, dinner, and dessert while being able to share your cooking adventures with friends and family.

  Some questions

Why not add something more innovative to the mix? Why are the pictures so small? What will draw users to this site versus the tens of others crowding the space?

I've been a long time user of AllRecipes, epicurious.com and FoodTV.com. I find Cookeatshare.com to be a far more cohesive offering and I love that I can make recipes posted by professional chefs in my favorite local restaurants and restaurants across the globe. Since joining Cookeatshare.com I haven't gone back to the other websites. I like the community feel these guys have created and I'm now a convert!
