In their own words
¨As a company powered by freelancers, we hate crossing our fingers when we make a hire. If you’re a client, you know that uncomfortable feeling. You can do hours of homework—collecting resumes, calling references, and asking friends for recommendations—but you can’t know the whole story until it’s too late. That’s why we created Anthillz: A reputation network for ambitious freelancers.¨
Why it might be a killer
Anthillz is a nice idea in theory to finally give ambitious freelancers the credit they deserve to hopefully in return provide in better pay. And it´s nice that you don´t have to create a profile in order to view the posted reviews. However, how can clients trust what´s written if it can be said by anyone? There´s no way to verify the relationship between the freelancer and reviewer. Thus, there´s no way to know if it truly can be trusted.
Some questions
How can clients check who the reviewer is? Can freelancers remove reviews they don´t like? Is there a place where freelancers could post samples of their work directly on the Anthillz website?
