DesignFlavr is a virtual gallery for aspiring artists. While the web may be littered with talented, up-and-coming artists, it is hard to find a centralized, reputable site to showcase their work. DesignFlavr hopes to change this by providing a space where the art has been reviewed and verified (there is no copyrighted material), and members can rank each piece of art. Every artwork has a link back to the creator’s website, but the site clearly focuses on the art rather than artist. DesignFlavr does not claim to peddle portfolios or provide for free image hosting; rather, the site only seeks to give deserving artists recognition.

DesignFlavr has the same appeal as a museum, but is much more accessible. It is the perfect venue to spend a few hours browsing the selection of artwork. It also has the potential to bring together a set of legitimate artists with a global pool of buyers.
