ZLoop is a new interaction system made up of four parts: First, ZLoop offers everyone the ability to create their own private collaboration space or online community in a click. The complete ease of loop creation means they can be used like folders for interaction. ZLoop was built so that you could have hundreds or even thousands of loops over the years, some that are ongoing and active, and others that are long since inactive but now serve to retain and organize those past interactions. Second, ZLoop relationships present a whole new metaphor for one-to-one interaction. Relationships provide a single, private place to keep up to date on colleagues, friends, and acquaintances contact and personal information; while also providing the ability to interact in a variety of ways and let you share and interact around multiple content types. All interaction is captured and organized over time, providing a collective journal of the life of each relationship. Third, it would be impossible to interact within and between hundreds of different loops and thousands of relationships if you had to navigate to each one independently. Your ZLoop ‘Home’ and the site header provides an inbox that notifies you of activity happening within all of your loops and relationships, lets you instantly respond to and interact around those activities, and provides you with controls to filter the flow of information to you from each loop. Fourth, the personal information you share about yourself differs according to whether you are at work, with your family, or at the club you go to. ZLoop has replicated this online by providing users with the ability to create multiple identities which they can submit as is appropriate to the context of each loop. Furthermore, because interaction on ZLoop is specific to each loop instead of existing within a single monolithic network (like myspace, facebook, or linked in), interaction remains in its appropriate context and is never exposed to those it is not relevant to (or to people you don’t even know).

“ZLoop is the first mass market, hosted solution the whole world can use. ZLoop gives everyone the ability to create unlimited loops with unlimited users per loop.”
| Why it might be a killer | |||
By focusing on privacy, contextual separation of interaction, and productivity and community interaction over personal promotion and ‘friend adding’, ZLoop has worked to build a better metaphor for social interaction that more closely mirrors real life. ZLoop has built a tool to allow the hundreds of millions of real world communities and sub communities, networks and sub-networks, to extend themselves online in their own private, secure social collaboration environment. ZLoop has also been built to be extremely flexible. A loop can be created in a click for purposes as simple as capturing feedback from a single meeting, or the loop creator can access the more advanced options to extend their 10,000 person community online for the next 50 years. While other companies may offer services to create ‘white label’ online communities, ZLoop appeals to the end user by making it very simple to interact within and between an unlimited number of these “Loops.”

This seems an interesting site as anyone can create loops for anything they need, and invite the designated persons they desire.

| I heard about ZLoop from a different site and wondered what others thought.I've been a part of ZLoop for about 5 days and already have around 13 loops. I agree 100% with the other users. It is easy to stay organized and in contact using ZLoops. I have loops that I've created for only myself. I upload important files and use the "Discussion" section to keep logs of phone calls, assignments, or things I don't want to forget.I'm trying to get everyone I know on board because I think ZLoop has exactly the right idea. I'm actually speaking about ZLoop for a class assignment in a day or two. I'm sold. | ||
