At first glance, WiseOz looks as if it may be a social network for magicians or jesters. It’s actually a social network with a slant towards collaborative problem solving and creative wits. There are several different aspects to site. Wisewits are online events or puzzles which are composed of a series of clues in need of resolution. Figure it out and you could win a prize. Next, we’ve got Quickwits. This is basically a gaming/teaser section; here you can play Tetrix, Conundrum, and Braniac, among other things. MatchWits, which isn’t quite done, will allow members to experience ‘organized, paired challenges’. Finally, in the Circles of Interest, users can connect with others who share the same likes and interests; it’s organized as straightforward topics which open up for adding images, discussions, blog posts etc. Users can join up for free and manage their account under the My Ego section.

WiseOz, you’ll remark right away is different from the rest. It actually creates an atmosphere where members can socialize and get to know one another through participating in well crafted challenges. The benefit here is that, members aren’t simply passive, activity isn’t limited to comments or pictures. Rather, members can participate in interesting ways. It’s definitely worth a look.
